In a world that is speeding up, my goal is to make art that urges you to slow down…to connect. My hope is to create a reason to stop and feel something and then to share that with another.
When you look at a piece of art, what you see tells you more about yourself than it does about the person who made it. My vision is that people stop and talk about what they see in my art and that it will foster a kind of intimacy you can only experience when you are looking deeply into the soul of another. I hope to create pieces that allow you to be more of yourself around those you experience it with - creating an environment where you can truly open up and have conversations you wouldn’t otherwise have in the mundane routine of daily life. I hope that in this pursuit I can remind people of all the beauty that exists in this world and inside of all of us - if only we slow down to notice.
