Twists & Turns
Life is full of many crazy twists & turns…some we bring upon ourselves & some the Universe delivers, but all are for our growth & our good.
I made this painting at a time I felt like I wanted to crawl up into a ball & disappear. Making this was an outlet for my pain. I had put my whole self out there only to arrive at complete mortification (the epitome of the showing up to school naked dream) and all I wanted to do was revert into hiding and heal the deep suffering in my soul. Since that moment, I have since seen what God’s true plan was for that time in my life. I have learned that your pain is sent to develop you, not to destroy you & your greatest growth can only happen in your greatest adversity. So be grateful through the pain, be optimistic in the agony & know that God & the Universe are using this difficulty because there are big plans for you ahead.
